Trailer Mounted Attenuator is a mobile safety device. The device is attached to the rear of the carrying vehicle so that it faces traffic. Its purpose is to prevent, as far as possible, an inattentive vehicle from ramming into a worker by absorbing the force of the impacting vehicle.

The collision mitigation adapter consists of a frame structure and a collision mitigation part. The frame structure contains the electro-hydraulic actuator for opening and closing, extending and retracting, and the coupling anchorages for attachment to the carrier vehicle. The mounting and dismounting of the fixing frame system on the carrier vehicle is simple.

The technical parameters of the equipment comply with the requirements of CEN-TS 16786:2018.
